| About The McCune
Please sign in to see more. I was at Ancestry & found my Grandfathers family all the way back to 1601 in Scotland! Around 1935-36 Montie W McCune & Anna Mae Foster McCune were in a car reck that ended there short lives. MY mother (Rosemary) was only 3 or 4 years old. So Anne Mae's mother (we knew her as Granny Foaster) steped in to raise the four girls. Edna Marie was the 2 or 3 daughter, died at the age of 18 of a kidney disease, we were told. My Granny Foster was put in a rest home by her son John in 1962 or 63. At the time she was living with us. My mom had just had my brother Michael, who had cerebal palsey, so Uncle John thought it was too much for my mother to handel. Granny died shortley after that. My Mom beged him not to take her away, but it was no use. Granny did not want to leave eather. She begged my mom to stay but there was nothing she could do.
I just wish I could find out more about my Dad's family. His fathers name was Yasias J. Espinosa, he was born in 1855 in Yucaian Old Mexico. He came to the US when he was 14 & worked around Iowa. He worked for the RR till he retired. He lived in the Winnebago Wisconsin area untill his death in June of 1970, thats about all we know so far. A few years back a coison told us she found out that Gramdpa Yasias was born on a chippawa reservation & his name was Running Dear till he got put with a family named Espinosa. But why would he lie on a ceunse?
